UPTPIG-50 Fuel, Startup and Pulsed Gas Treatment Station

Purpose of Usage and Specification

UPTPIG-050 “Goluboye Plamya” Fuel, Startup and Pulsed Gas Treatment Station is designed to maintain fuel gas pressure in the specified range and to control gas flow to commercial needs.

UPTPIG-050 is installed outdoors in macroclimatic areas with moderate climate (N) and the 1st environmental class according to GOST 15150. Designed snow load of 180 kgf/m² complies with the requirements of the 3rd territorial region. Wind load of 30 kgf/m² complies with the requirements of the 2nd territorial region according to the Construction Standards SNiP 2.01.07-85

UPTPIG-050 “Goluboye Plamya” consists of:

• a gas reducing unit with a preheating system,
• a commercial gas flow metering unit.

The gas reducing unit includes the following:

• a block container;
• a gas preheating skid;
• a gas reducing skid with Рout=2.4 MPa;
• a gas reducing skid with Рout=1.2 MPa;
• a heat transfer fluid preheating skid;
• a heat transfer fluid supply skid;
• a gas reducing skid to station needs;
• a control cabinet.

A block container of the gas reducing unit is made of a solid metal supporting frame, a reinforced body and consists of two compartments:

• a process compartment,
• a boiler compartment.

The process compartment complies with V1a explosion area class in accordance with the Electrical installation code (PUE).
Both compartments of the gas reducing unit conform to the Fire regulations NPB 105-03 and are classified to the following classes:

• a process compartment – А;
• a boiler compartment – G.

The unit is heated by radiators with heat transfer fluid supply from the gas preheating system.
