Gas gauze filters, FS type are designed to clean non-aggressive hydrocarbon gases and air from mechanical impurities (scales, dust) that erode sealing surfaces of pressure regulator valves, safety shut-off valves, insulation valves and other fittings that as well clog and put impulse communications and devices out of operation.
Gas gauze filters are installed in the equipment of gas distribution systems with maximum working pressure up to 12 kgf/cm².
The filter consists of a welded body, a cover and a gauze element. Gas passing through the gauze of the gauze element is cleaned from solid particles that settle in the lower part of the bowl of the gauze element and the cover. Passing the gauze element, the purified gas enters the filter outlet. There are thread connections on the filter body for the differential pressure gauge connection. Upon the customer's request, the filter can be supplied together with a differential pressure indicator that helps to control the clogging degree of the gauze element. Replacement of the gauze element is carried out without dismantling the filter housing from a gas pipeline. Gas gauze filters are manufactured with the following nominal diameters: DN25, DN50, DN80, DN100, DN150 with welded bodies.
Purification degree of the filters is 80 µm.
Gas gauze filters, FS type are produced in accordance with the requirements of a specification.
Materials and purchased products used for the gas filter manufacture have all necessary certificates, passports and other documents confirming their compliance with current standards and specifications.
The manufacturer will guarantee that the filter meets the requirements of technical conditions if the consumer observes the conditions of transportation, storage, installation and operation.
A guarantee period of operation is 12 months of the date of sale to the consumer but not more than 18 months of the date of manufacture.
The guarantee period does not cover the gauze element.
